I absolutely loved working on this story—Mesa is such an intellectual badass who could also kick your ass but she won’t unless it’s logical to do so in which case you deserved it so stop complaining. 😘
She’s definitely one of those characters that just dropped into the book out of nowhere and suddenly became the most interesting person in the room. Digging into her brain has been fascinating and terrifying and I loved every minute of it.
