📚2020 reading line-up! 🚀

🧐 What was your favorite 2020 read?

This year’s book stack looks a little sad, but only because I was lucky enough to have the chance to read a bunch of ARCs for 2021 debuts, all of which came in digital form! Maybe I’ll make an updated 2020 book stack video once all those amazing books in my possession next year! 🥰📚❤️

I just barely squeezed in my Goodreads goal of 12, though it’s really 10 because my own book and its sequel (THE EXILED FLEET) are counted in that, which might be cheating BUT I both wrote a large portion of the sequel and read it MANY many many many times, so I don’t really care 🙃🤷‍♀️

I realize 12 is not an impressive number of books, but considering I’m the slowest reader on the planet, my author workload, and just *gestures broadly at 2020*, I’m calling it a miracle that I even showed up anywhere near my goal!!! 🎉

What I read:

🐐☠️ The Bone Houses by Emily Lloyd-Jones

🪐💫 The Loneliest Girl in the Universe by Lauren James

💙❤️ This is How You Lose the Time War by Amal El-Mohtar and Max Gladstone

✨👽 Architects of Memory by Karen Osborne

🚀✨ Velocity Weapon by Megan E. O’Keefe

🪓⚔️ Hall of Smoke by H.M. Long

🐺🐍 The Witch’s Heart by Genevieve Gornichec

⚙️🎩 The Brass Queen by Elizabeth Chatsworth

🤖📺 Network Effect (Murderbot #5) by Martha Wells

☄️🌎 The Effort by Claire Holroyde
