Happy New Year!
I’m generally not one to plan my reading in advance, as I’m too moody of a reader. When I do make reading plans, however, I find I’m more likely to at least partially stick to them if they involve fantasy and/or SciFi novels. My 2022 to read list is therefore exclusive to these two genres. I’m quite sure that at some point this year I’ll be in the mood for every one of these books - a couple of them I already hope to make January reads 📚
📕 The Ruin of Kings by Jenn Lyons
📕 The Shadow of What Was Lost by James Islington
📕 Persepolis Rising by James S.A. Corey
📕 A Desolation Called Peace by Arkady Martine
📕 The Exiled Fleet by J.S. Dewes
📕 Gideon the Ninth by Tamsyn Muir
📕 From Blood and Ash by Jennifer Armentrout
📕 The Blade Itself by Joe Abercrombie
📕The Elfstones of Shannara by Terry Brooks
📕 The Look of a King by Tom Dumbrell
📕 Illborn by Daniel Jackson
📕 The Sword of Kaigen by M.L. Wang
Not pictured is City of Brass by S.A. Chakraborty, which I started reading this morning 📖
Are any of these books on your 2022 to be read piles?
