How would you like to have the comfort of a rebirth in when things go south? Like the MC here discovers, not so great, and when she gets a chance to join a new squad, outfitted with latest tech, she gets a bit of hope.
RUBICON by @jsdewes is an absolute recommend for military sci-fi readers. It is tight, character driven, balances out breakneck action with some quieter character moments that had me completely invested. Oh, and, has that tinge of mystery and humor in unexpected places, though the trauma of having to be resurrected again and again is the central theme.
