Okay, so it’s International Women’s Day but I’m more interested in INTERGALACTIC WOMEN’S DAY because you know I judge sci-fi pretty hard if it doesn’t have enough female characters. So I’m obviously going to use this as an excuse to post about one of my favorite female writers who does some of my favorite female characters. Do you like your female characters fierce but with a tragic backstory? Or a disinherited royal? Or charmingly perky? Or super smart and alien? (And, like, okay, they do all kinda have tragic backstories. I mean, they wouldn’t be Sentinels if everything was going great.)
My only complaint is that there’s only two books so far. If only @jsdewes had another book coming out soon, maybe with an entirely new set of characters 😇
